What kind of information is collected?

None.

No data is collected, tracked, or stored outside of your device.

🔍 Personal Data

Flavor Book does not collect any personal information such as:

Name
Gender
Email address
Home address
Phone number
Or any other identifying data

Your recipes are stored only on your local device — in the same secure way as your phone’s display settings.
They are never sent to a server, external database, or shared with third parties.

I do not own, use, or sell your personal data — because I never collect it.
This is a deliberate choice to protect your privacy and minimize responsibility for data handling.

🔐 Personally-Identifying Information

The Flavor Book app does not gather or transmit any personally-identifying information.
All data stays on your device. The only thing stored is the data you enter for your recipes, and that remains fully local.

💳 For Subscribers

If you purchase the Pro version, your billing information (name, email, payment method, etc.) is handled entirely by the App Store.

Here’s what I see:

Whether or not you have an active subscription
The plan type (monthly, yearly, etc.)
The expiration date of your current term

This information is anonymous and accessed via RevenueCat, our purchase provider.
No personal billing details are ever shared with me.

🔄 Privacy Policy Changes

Most changes to this policy will likely be minor. However, Flavor Book may update this Privacy Policy occasionally.

Your continued use of the app after any changes are published will constitute your acceptance of those changes.

Terms of Use

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Our Service.

Interpretation

Application means the software program provided by the Company downloaded by You on any electronic device, named Flavor Book.
Application Store means the digital distribution service operated and developed by Apple Inc. (Apple App Store).
Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with a party.
Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”) refers to David Deschamps, Impasse Sicar Alaman, Toulouse, France.
Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, cellphone, or digital tablet.
Service refers to the Application.
Terms and Conditions (also referred to as “Terms”) mean these Terms that form the entire agreement between You and the Company.
Third-party Social Media Service means any services or content provided by a third party that may be displayed or made available by the Service.
You means the individual or legal entity accessing or using the Service.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend Your access immediately, without notice, for any reason, including if You breach these Terms. Upon termination, Your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company and its suppliers shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, including data loss or personal injury, even if advised of the possibility. Total liability will not exceed the amount You paid for the Service, or $100 USD if no purchase was made.

“AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” Disclaimer

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, with all faults and no warranties. We do not guarantee the Service will meet your needs, be error-free, or uninterrupted.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to You. In such cases, limitations apply to the greatest extent allowed by law.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute about the Service, please try to resolve it informally by contacting the Company.

For European Union Users

If you are an EU consumer, you benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

United States Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that:

You are not located in a country under U.S. government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting”.
You are not listed on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to achieve its purpose, and all other provisions remain in effect.

Waiver

Failure to enforce a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of future enforcement of that right or provision.
